The Kensington Rising Initiative is a focused branch of Second Wind Philly dedicated to uplifting individuals in one of Philadelphia’s most impacted neighborhoods. We provide food, clothing, addiction recovery pathways, mental health support, and housing resources — with a compassionate, boots-on-the-ground presence. Our mission is to restore dignity, build trust, and walk alongside our neighbors in Kensington as they rise toward a second chance at life.
